Acting
Designed to cover a broad range of dramatic arts techniques such as improvisation, sketch development, forms of self-expression, character/playscript analysis and auditioning. Acting classes explore using text as in memorization of monologues, two- and three-person scenes, ensemble pieces and a basic introduction to improvisation.
Students will learn the terminology of the theatre and how to move within the space. They will also have the benefit of our professional staff’s experience in creating characters and understanding plays and other dramatic works from the perspective of the actor.
Ages 7 to 17 years. Classes are kept small, so space is limited.
